I make art & stay curious at home and in my travels.
My art making is an ongoing practice complemented by long runs, travel & adventure.
Works in Progress
It’s always hard to know when something is done; unlike cooking and baking I can’t set a timer. Some of the work here is complete and some, not. If art school taught me one thing, it’s the value of feedback - the power of the critique. I appreciate any constructive criticism.
Art Studio@Home
During the 2020/21 school disruption due to the pandemic, I, like so many others was forced to switch gears and learn new things. I taught myself - truly building the plane while flying it - how to create K-6 art lessons using iMovie. They are rudimentary at best, and as creative as I could be at the time.
Cabinet of Curiosities
My Cabinet of Curiosities is a place to house all the things that are inspiring to me. Photos I take on my daily runs, and my thoughts about what I’m seeing and noticing. What I’m reading and how that is influencing me. And, most important, how OTHER artists are helping me to be a better artist.
